After and extremely early morning, several hours in a few airports, made it home. Where there once was 4, now has 3. It’s strange because everywhere I went something reminded me of her. For example, the Atlanta airport has a “Savannah Candy Store” which we visited the on te trip when we found out she was accepted to SCAD. Her room is mostly empty, it lacks her personal touch and still has a few boxes.
We Caley packed up for college she actually packed up her entire room so we can use it as a guest room or we have a friend that may stay with us a bit. Either way it means she needed to pack her things. It feels strange not to have her here, sitting on the couch watching a show with us or telling us about her day.
She may not physically be here but we talk to her and text. One of our family members misses her more than most. Our cat, Dinozo slept in her room each night and he is missing her.
